AvantGarde blog tour and a giveaway!

Hope you all had a wonderful Holidays and that you are ready for some new and colorful projects!

 I have a great group of friends and makers that are working on fantastic projects featuring Avantgarde fabrics and I am sure that they will solicit some of your inspiration and ideas!

  12. These are just GORGEOUS! I would love to make a quilt top or giant box floor cushion using (more or less) the pattern from the table runner! :-D Can't wait to get a hold of some of this collection and it would be a dream come true to win the giveaway! With all those fat quarters I'd definitely have to whip up a few things for my newborn baby girl too! With my sewing business to run, I'm always afraid she'll be the cobbler's kid- haha! :-)

    I love love love the Kubeta quilt in the lookbook. I'm considering that as well as a modified lonestar quilt with the bold colors in the star, and the gorgeous black and white quilts in the background. and of course, I have to make a duffel bag out of Avant Garde!

  105. Thanks for the chance to win Katarina! I'm working at making my stash more modern and winning this would make a significant impact. I'm drawn to the modern yet retro vibe of Avantgarde. Very vibrant and clean. I'm a quilter so if I win, I'd most definitely use my prize to make a quilt like the stunning Kubeta bargello, but IF I did garment sewing I'd make something like the Date Night Dress.

  112. I am seriously obsessed with this collection of fabrics. I want to decorate my entire house with it as it would match perfectly! I am obsessed with Herma Melini's Arrow baby quilt. One of my New Years resolutions was to make a quilt for myself (have not done that yet!!) and I'll need to use these fabrics on that project!

  130. I love all your collections but this one is my favorite so far. The modern patterns and colors are right up my alley and I'll definitely make a quilt with it. If Steps Above was available as a knit or voile, I'd totally make a dress after not having sewn any clothes for years. Could anyone recommend a pattern for a dress that works well with quilt fabric?
