Ginger Blossom goes on exhibition:o)
YAY!!!How great is that?????? I submited my Ginger Blossom set at the ULUPUDS 40th May exhibition and it was accepted!!!!
I was so thrilled even because this is the first time that I'm showing my sewn work, and not my drawings, collages or graphics, as since now......So, this was a big revealing for my recent field of creativity, hobby or love....however should it be called......and this was so propriate as the Revealing was the name of the Ehxibition;). Revealing, where one explores the inner world, the one` s own attitude, the personal in-depth knowledge. Along the spiral, it is a little bit shifted level which goes together with a thesis that `art is juxtaposed with science as the way of revealing, creating and spreading knowledge in the broader sense of deepening the knowledge`. Even more than the mentioned here, it is an affirmation of the attitude that art is avantguarde from which one could be taught, which can go forward, having advantage. Precisely in that sense, this year` s exhibition works of art should be observed. Especially because it is a question about the applied art, which by its character has always been actual, current and usable. Also, its artistic impression is potentially boundless, powerfull field of the entire creative expression, testified by the works of art of onehundred and one artist being exposed at this year` s exhibition.
You got to check some amazing art works by clicking here.
There are exhibited many beautiful and different works in 9 applied arts categories or sections. Here are some works....
I saved for last my favorite from this Exhibition, Danijela Golubovic's work.
She is very young, and was my mom's student. I just love this piece of art, ceramic (porcelain) and iron.....just worth the award she got!!!Congrats!!!
There is also another great ceramic exhibition, that you may check here .
Enjoy the weekend;) and those of you hanging around at the Market at the other part of the world, have fun and be sure to take some great pics;)
