Etsy treasury

I was so lucky this week, being featured 4 times on Etsy treasury.

Sorry if the pics of the web pages I took are terrible, but I 've tried to save it as a web page, unsuccessfully, so this is the best I could do as far. This one on the left is still unexpired and you can see it here if you are looking before October 13, 10:52 pm.....
It was created by Brooke.
The other previous list were made by my friends, living very close to me, Katarina and Nena .

There are also some other great people from my country, (but living outside) I met thanks to Etsy like Zorica and Sandra.

And if you want to make your treasury list, I suggest reading this.

Happy Sunday,

Poppy fields

My new listings, on eBay.

I made this outfit a few months ago, but never find enough time to list it and after that, to recreate it!!! Marta is so happy when wearing it, we both love it, and she is getting so many compliments when wearing it;)

Do you Sis Boom?

Photobucket

I 've recently joined the group of Fabulous eBay designers doing the launch in honour of Jennifer Paganelli, her creativity and fabrics.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Even Jennifer joined the launch and created this beautiful dress and offered as a 100% Charitable Auction to benefit The Wounded Warriors Project.

To see other designs you may click here and to visit my auction you may click here .

I was absolutely inspired by her collages and decoupage projects, which I saw on her
blog and therefore had a vision of the dress where on the apron part I can play with different shapes and colors, but still remaining in shades of the chosen fabrics. I'm very familiar with collage as an artistic form of expression , as it is my favourite media and also way of doing sketches for my graphics

I'm a bit sad because at this moment, just a few kilometres far away, Nick Cave is heaving a concert and I'm sitting here and blogging,LOL. At least, I've reserved 2 tickets for me and my hubby for the Police :oP

I'm a bit sad also because I've just left theChicks, my eBay group....trying to impose to my self always some new challenges....and changes. If you know some more Scorpios, I'm sure you will know about what I'm rumbling about;)
I suppose that I will go solo from now on;)
Wish me good luck!!!

Fabric shopping day

Hmmm, it's been lonely here on the blog lately....:0(...where have you all gone???I know that some are already having the holiday breaks and having fun!!!!We will go probably in Greece this year, in the island of Tasos....where is taken the photo above, 2 years ago;)

But today I have some other, fresh photos to share, as my hubby took me to the fabric shopping spree;P

This place is called Italtes and is fabric shop where the fabric is weight in grams .....so it goes in weight and not metres,LOL.

I love that, not only because you can touch everything, but because it actually requires some digging....and finding some lost treasures, among the bolts ,rolls and fabric sheets.
I was totally thrilled when I found this one

It has that vintage, almost Japanese look, I think. Such a pity that they had only that piece of about 1.5 yds left...but it will certainly be used well:O)

Bianka was sleeping in the world of fabrics, so I could explore all the corners and groups easily...enchanted and taken by the colors, patterns and projects about how and where to use them.

Got the bliss???Well, I certainly had.

Photobucket

We also had a great weekend!!!

We were collecting some wild strawberries, near our weekend house and they were so delicious!!!!We were so happy that have found one small nest as it served to take some home, too.

I just love to collect the fruits, each kind and next weekend even the cherries will be ready to take from the tries, yumm!!!!

I've been using some cherry branches to take pics of my new collection...Poppies, but more about it soon;)

Summer in the city

Ahhhhhh, today I got in my mail some Summer in the city charm packs!!!This fabric line by Moda was so popular last summer and I was such a dork not to buy it in time, but lately managed to get some prints and yesterday, finally, won a few yards of my favourite one.

The birdies!!!!They are so beautiful, aren't they????

Marta was so happy that I allowed her playing with some charms and she was so excited, and so was I...well still am!!!I think that there is something about us, fabric addicted people that when are aware of some line being discontinued and Hard To Find, we want it even more, even that the prices are up....I remember when I discovered Amy Butler's Sunbloom collection, I've tried to buy some prints and search everywhere without any luck:( and it was like 30$ for yard.

And here are some pics of what I did with these(LOVE it):

This photo here is just a mountin of our wardrobe waiting to be ironed, LOL, and my hubby took this pic laughing while I was sewing something, telling me why don't you blog this and let people see something really interesting and incredible, LMAO!!!!!
So, well, I did it. Today, (thanks to the girl who is helping me with the house work;)) all this is in the closet, ironed and I can happily think about my next project....
