Capri fabric look book

My latest fabric collection, Capri with Art gallery fabrics is shipping and the look book is just released!        You can take some inspiration for your next sewing project, or simply just immerse yourself in  this wonderful Mediterranean landscape, painted in bright, coastal tones. My inspiration and love for the beautiful Mediterranean coast never fades away.  After the Skopelos, Lavish, Mediterraneo and Floralishcollection, Capri embodies  the same summery vibe and therefore can be beautifully mixed and matched  with the prints from these past fabric lines.

The collection has 16 prints in premium cotton, 1 rayon and 1 knit. Blithe

Art Gallery fabrics have just made the introduction to the newest, Fall collections and my Blithe should be available within the next couple of days.
With this collection, I have probably moved on from where I left my first, Indelible collection, changing the palette, making it more winterish and more cozy and comfort in a way. Maybe even a bit Holidays appropriate, as there are touches of metallics in a few prints.

 I love how this quote explains and describes perfectly some prints:  “I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? Skopelos vacation 2015

We spent 2 amazing weeks in Skopelos island, 4th year in a row. It's our happy place and we are so grateful for everything this island gave us. For me it's an amazing source of inspiration and sort of serendipity that warms my heart. The views, the sounds, the smells.......and especially the shapes, the textures and the colors......a place that warms all your senses.



You can find so many Skopelos pics in my blog already, but here a few new ones, that are very special to me, especially those that involve some Skopelos fabrics. As you maybe already know, this island inspired my Skopelos collection and I was so proud and happy to make some shoots of the Skopelos fabrics in Skopelos island.

Doily and embroidered buttons and some patchwork

It seems that we are totally into fall.
Like gloomy, rainy weather and cold. Not fun at all.
But, yet, it's good for crafting.













Here 's what I am into these days: making some more button necklaces with gorgeous doily and embroidered and cross stitch (so trendy right now!) buttons, just like some made long time ago......
And trying to finish my half squares quilt. I love it already. It's small and I placed a very warm(high loft)batting inside, appropriate for winter season. But I know that it will give me a hard time to quilt over. Oh, well....

Can't wait to get it all done: I will do the square-cross-hatch quilting over...I hope I will not ruin it!

Saying goodbye to summer

Last Sunday was the last day of summer :(



Here are some shoots taken last week...we were enjoying lots of yummy food and flowers, we watched weather changing often and I was trying to get some things done in time....I will soon inform you about that progress;)
