Skopelos blog tour, part II

The second week of the Skopelos blog tour  is finished and I am so excited to make this overview,  admiring all the beautiful creations of amazing makers/bloggers that took part of it.

Erica Jackman of Kitchen Table quilting used a few of the prints from the fabric line mixed in with Pure Elements solids in Nocturnal, Raspberry Rose, and Grapefruit. She used a curved template that she drafted in EQ7 for the quilt. the quilt is listed for sale in her etsy shop.

Jessica Alexandrakis of Life under quilts, whose husband is Greek, wanted to work with this line also because she thinks that Greece is really underrepresented in the quilting world. For her stop on the tour, she decided to make a Dresden Table Runner, one of the projects in her NEW BOOK.
The runner is made of five 9" Dresden blocks on point. You can get the tutorial on her blog ;)

Svetlana Sotak of s.o.t.a.k. handmade created this stunning summer bag made out of Paparounes pastel (poppies are her absolute favorite flowers) in combination with Essex Yarn Dyed Linen.

She even made a matching Lola pouch and scissor keeper (brilliant pattern by Amy Friend found in Make it, Take it book) just because she loves this fabric so much.

Kathleen Riggins of Kathleen Quilts used a variation of her Avonroy Tiles pattern, to create Skopelos Tiles pattern. She made so many beautiful pics, that you have to hop on to her blog and see it, plus some amazing quilting shown in details here.

Caroline Hulse of Sew Caroline made this beautiful maxi dress, using her Tank Dress pattern as a base for this dress. She adjusted the length along the shorten/lengthen line to make it hit around her ankles and sewed it out of a knit so it has a little more give. She loves how easy this dress is to make and wear.

Hope that you feel inspired!!!
See you soon with some more amazing creations!!!
xx, Katarina
