A few months ago, after Gymboree launched theirs Cupcake cutie line, I became totally obsessed with cupcakes,LOL!
We don't have any Gymboree store(sneef, sneef) neither in my country and neither in Italy(where we are going very offten, as my hubby is Italian;), but thanks to internet and ebay, it's easy to do a few clicks on-line and receive some favourite items.
So, as I'm also obsessed with fabrics, I tried to get the cutest cupcake fabric and my result was this
I payed more than 20 $ per yard, but when I saw it, I simply had to have it!It is an Japanese imported fabric, 100 % cotton and is TDF!
I ordered it in red and pink;) and started creating this set in red
and this one in pink
I also made some fabric buttons from scraps
Of course, I will do some hair goodies and 2 of the red ones I sew on the back part of the halter bodice part...of the red set
Well, the sets are still unfinished, as I'm doing a special costume for a special customer as priority for her BD, but will hopefully finish them soon and list them on Ebay;)

WOW Katarina...Is this for the upcoming button launch? It is absolutely beautiful and so fun! I just love the fabric buttons and the crochet chain accents on the cupcakes!! Your work is simply amazing and so detailed!! I was actually thinking of doing a cupcake top for the button launch too! I just need to start on it first! ;)
OH! This is precious! I love all of it! The fabric, the design, the hair cupcakes and covered buttons! Super sweet!!!
Thanks guys!!!!You are soooo kind and I'm totally blushing!!!
Lindsay, not sure if this will be for our upcoming launch, but probably it will;)
Love it Katrina! Your work is always so detailed - it is neat to see it in the "in process" stage and not 100% finished...
This is gorgeous Katarina!!
