Today is our 13 year Anniversary! It's always so nice to go through this blog post and look at the pictures taken 13 years ago....And also, so glad that I took these pictures of my girls 2 weeks ago(part of the recent custom order), that are pretending to be the flower girls....Can't wait to get the pictures from the actual wedding:)

Once upon a time
As I mentioned in my previous post, it's been a long time since I posted about something I created with the fabric and I must admit that once upon a time I sewed much more. Here you can see some pics of the outfit that was a custom design back in May and created for one little girl, age of 2.5, just a bit younger than Bianka (that was so sweet to model it for me). I think it was created for one of those pageant shows in the USA and I can only imagine how beautiful that little girl was, wearing it.
Something that goes well with this blog post title is also something neat that I created sometimes in July, for a very special friend of mine, that got married this summer with an Aussie guy:).
It was a perfect wedding, with many people from different parts of the world coming to assist and stay for some time in Belgrade.....and I had a pleasure of creating a nice little head fascinator piece, inspired by fantastic Philip Treacy .

And here is the detail of my dress that I wore and sewed especially for this event:)
(and if you may ask about the shoes, they are my favorite brand-Irregular choice , of course).

Cake toppers
It's been a long time since I wanted and planned to do these. I had the request from the Brides magazine and now each couple of these is on its way to NYC. W'll see what happens:)
These animal figures can be used as a home decoration as well, perfect for gift giving.
I had many etsy convos in past, requesting my plexi ornaments without holes, so I think that these are the great addition.
Oh, and I finally made the packaging boxes for the ornaments that are made in natural craft cardboard, but will post the picture soon:) Hopefully will make some stamps soon as well.
Happy weekend,

The things that makes me happy
Of course, beside or after my family, that always comes first;)
I recently had the request from one of my customers to make the wedding dress in black/white for her 5 years old daughter.
I must say that I was firstly confused with black wedding fact, but than I thought that it is original and different.....

So after I finally found some beautiful sumptuous black silk fabrics with silver embroidery(which wasn't such an easy task and it was good that silver could work instead of white), coordinating trims, beads and other details, I started creating the set.....my starting point was the GOLD antique dress I made a few moths ago and selling here.
Somehow, those days there was the film on the TV about Coco Channel's life and must say that I was inspired, with her evolution of hat as the detail and inevitable piece of women's look those days.....and all those minimal black and white dresses she made, and those beads, being great companion to her creations....
Well, here is what I made

and here are some pics I edited a bit in the photoshop, playing with background and layers, obtaining that vintage like look;)

oh, and the matching necklace

Oh my, I still can't believe that it was 9 years ago. But it's 9 beautiful years since we married in Bari , Italy. And we have 3 gorgeous kids that are a great reminder of how time flies!!!!
It was a small family gathering with around 50 people celebrating in masseria Gallinaro , beautiful ancient restaurant at the Province of Bari.
We are so lucky to have the beautiful wedding album as a great time saver, with gorgeous photos made by our friend Marco. He is not a professional photographer, but I think he did a great job. I couldn't scan the photos one by one as they are glued strongly at the album pages, so I had to photograph the pages and therefore they lost theirs quality, but I'm sure that you can take the impression, clicking here and going to the bottom of the set to see more pics.
:)
