Indelible blog hop, part 2

indelible blog hop

It's time for the Indelible BLOG HOP part 2 or the second round up!
You can admire and read more about some amazing creations in  part 1 and introduction post HERE with the full list of participants!!!

We will start with amazing work of:

Kathleen Kerr

She created 2 quilts with Indelible, both using Darkened Ink colorway and I am still trying to decide which one I like most...the first one that you can see is called "Delectable" and if you follow the link to her blog you will find the free pattern-tutorial for this beautiful piece of art!

The second one is created using Jaybird Quilts pattern "Park Bench". The quilting is impeccable!!!

-------------------------

Than we have fantastic "Indelible foot print" quilt top by

 Amy Friend

Amy used Subtle watermarks colorway and she was inspired by a Moroccan floor tile design to create this hexagonal pattern.

And I will finish this round up with the Indelible Doiland dress that I created for my quiltmarket booth. The dress is modeled by Lauv, fashion designer and stylist in AGF and actually while I was creating the dress (the night before departure), I totally had her in my mind as model and sort of inspiration and I wasn't wrong!!!
And I am a bit sorry that the second picture (she looks like a beautiful mermaid to me) didn't finish as a look book cover, but she was in Brazil while the look book was in the works...but at least you can see it here! :)

Thanks Lauv - you totally rock that dress!!!❤️❤️❤️

New princess custom set

Custom royal pink, ivory and lavender princess set

During this whole month, I was busy creating one complete new princess set for an etsy customer. I truly enjoyed every piece of this set and had a wonderful experience from the start till the end. Here are some steps of the way....from proposing and choosing the fabrics, making mock ups till the finished set.

Once upon a time

Pink royal pageant costume

As I mentioned in my previous post, it's been a long time since I posted about something I created with the fabric and I must admit that once upon a time I sewed much more. Here you can see some pics of the outfit that was a custom design back in May and created for one little girl, age of 2.5, just a bit younger than Bianka (that was so sweet to model it for me). I think it was created for one of those pageant shows in the USA and I can only imagine how beautiful that little girl was, wearing it.

Something that goes well with this blog post title is also something neat that I created sometimes in July, for a very special friend of mine, that got married this summer with an Aussie guy:).

It was a perfect wedding, with many people from different parts of the world coming to assist and stay for some time in Belgrade.....and I had a pleasure of creating a nice little head fascinator piece, inspired by fantastic Philip Treacy .

And here is the detail of my dress that I wore and sewed especially for this event:)
(and if you may ask about the shoes, they are my favorite brand-Irregular choice , of course).

First day of summer;)

butterfly

Good morning!!!

Depending on the year, summer starts on 20 or 21 June in the Northern Hemisphere, but this year on 20, so today is actually already the second day, but never mind, what better way to start it with a piece of homemade chocolate cake with the strawberry on the top and cappuccino?

Yummyyy!!!Oh, what kind of coffee do you drink???In my country, people like to have different versions of coffee, but living in the house with Italian;), it is quite normal to have Italian kind of coffee;)

Well, the summer is definitely here and kids are already asking when we will be leaving to sea, which is not decided yet, so I'm trying to make them being entertained, either on the our bigger balcony or in some of the close park areas, like Kalemegdan where live many squirrels;) and kids like giving them the nuts:)

I'm trying to jump from one project to another, either doing clothes or accessories .

A few days ago, Katherine was so sweet to feature me on hers lovely blog. Thanks Katherine!!!!

Speaking of accessories, I have some cute new beads to share;)
