Fall beauty

Yesterday I went to make some pics of my new finished quilt. And I made hundreds of pics, but before I post them, I decided to dedicate this post to nature and fall only.
Because it deserves a post itself. There is so much beauty in the silence....incredible colors everywhere...hope you will be inspired too!

So proud of my son for taking the main role in this sweet commercial!
I think that he totally nailed it! ;)



I just love how the crew behind the video awesomely did theirs job.
It was a very long filming day and starting the scenes very early (5 a.m.) and working till 6 p.m. was something that required a lot of patience and engagement!











You may noticed that my sweet owl plushie had it's role too!:)
They did that scene with the Dinosaur plushie too, as the Brontosaur is his favourite sleeping companion, but papa owl was a great fit (regarding the size).

Mikser 2013

MIKSER is the biggest regional festival of creativity, it is the multidisciplinary event, that combines a fair design, talent area, interdisciplinary educational conference, art shows and summer music festival. It's always nice to enjoy at least some of the events;)

Since last year, they made quite a difference with relocating the festival from the industrial setting of Žitomlin production facility to one of the oldest neighborhoods in Belgrade – Savamala. This marked a change in the program structure, as the festival is now being scattered over a number of locations, instead of just one.
And looking at my previous entries regarding Mikser, I just realized that was enabled to attend it, as I was very busy doing something more important (and can't wait to share more of it soonish)

The exhibition "Flickering shadows"

Yesterday was the opening of my exhibition "Flickering shadows", as I mentioned in my previous post. I am so relived now that it is officially opened and that after months of work I can finally move toward. The paintings were inspired by my 2 daughters and some branches and leaves shadows....So, here are a few pics from the opening and the paintings. Hope you'll like them;)





































Oh and my son is almost 8. Tomorrow to be precise...or better,  just in a few hours.... Can hardly believe it!!!
And actually I took him as inspiration for my next project. Totally boyish stuff:) Can't wait to show you:)))

Behind the scenes

For a few months already, I had such a pleasure to work on some props for the film Therese Raquin being filmed mainly here in Serbia. Thanks to my sister that was the assistant set decorator on the film, I was taken to do some drawings and calligraphy for some scenes.
I can't post any of the great pictures I have, except a few of some "non relevant" details, as the film will be out only in 2013, but must say that I am thrilled by everything I saw and by so many details and people engaged in film, making it being real, unique and perfect. They are shooting the last scenes today, so it's time to get back to reality:)

Can't wait to watch the film next year;)

Mikser 2011.

Mikser 2011, ("the biggest Southeast European festival of creativity and innovation) was great mixture of design and fun, as always, and aside some weather problems and total disaster regarding organization involving Mikser Bazar , I had a great time:)
It is hard to choose a few pics (among more than 150) to present this great mixture, but here are a few, just to give you the idea:)
